Manawatu Globe Theatre: The Three little Pigs

Part of my social life includes being part of our amater singing and acting. The Manawatu Theatre Society frequently needs material designed for their shows, so it was a great way for me to get involved in the community and build my portfolio. This was a very enjoyable illustration and design job for the July holiday’s childrens’ show. It was a chance to be playful. The design also included a smaller version for kids to colour in.

Manawatu Globe Theatre: Eurobeat

This is another Manawatu Theatre Society show. However here I needed to work to certain design restrictions. The visual size and hierarchy of the headers needed to be a specific ratio, and the logo was provided. I had to then create a look that was fun and a bit retro (with a dash of cheese). And it had to be flexible for a lot of different formats, mainly newspaper ads, flyers, and posters.

Whanganui Medical Education and Research Foundation

These are the partner pieces for the logo that was designed to bring the Foundation's image up to speed in a modern age. The printed material needed to be very simple, and the photography had to be the main focus, communicating with the aid of only minimal text. The poster template made the most of this and was easy to develop into a series. This was a collaborative project done with Kelvin Patterson, all the photographs were supplied.
